MATERIAL ENGINEER– S2P - Master Data Management(MDM) @ CHENNAI

Position:  Executive -MATERIAL ENGINEER– S2P - Master Data Management(MDM)

Report To: Team Leader - Operations

Function:Operations

Work Location: Chennai



Responsibility: 
  The executive will be responsible for creating Item, Vendor, Service & Customer masters for clients (manufacturing organizations).

Primary Functions/Responsibilities:


To create Master data for Items, Vendors, Customer & Service.

Need to have an understanding of ERP applications in Material, Vendor & Service master like – SAP , Oracle, Maximo, etc

Communicate with clients (SPOC) on a day to day basis for exchange of information to complete his/her tasks in a time bound manner.


Mandatory Skills:

1.Should know UNSPSC classification & need to have experience in classifying the same in the past jobs.
2.Should know to use MS Excel
3.Language proficiency in English is a must.
4.Need to understand different templates used for creation of masters


Desirable Skills:


1.Language Proficiency in Hindi
2.Know how of using MS Office (Word, Power point, Access, Visio)
3.Understanding of project management
4.On site/plant exposure is desirable quality
5.Any other schema of classification like e-class etc is added advantage

JOB SPECIFICATION:

Min Educational Qualification Required:


Bachelor of Engineering (Mech/IT/EE/EC) OR Diploma in (Mech/IT/EE/EC)

Others:  

SAP/Oracle/ certification, Material management certification from reputed companies / schools will add to the weight age.


Work Experience:


Minimum of 06 months to a maximum of 30 months in relevant BPO / Back office environment. Any added experience is okay.
